Teach-in on April 25th

April 22, 2011

We’ll be holding our next teach-in on Monday, April 25th, from noon until 4pm on the McGill campus, outside near the Roddick Gates.  If you enter campus through the Roddick Gates (on Sherbrooke), you will be able to spot us easily.  We’ll have some “no nuke” posters with us.  It should be about 16 degrees on Monday, and there is no forecast for rain.  If it does rain or gets too cold, we will announce an alternate meeting spot on this blog.

Everyone is welcome to attend.  Please feel free to come and go.  There’s no need to stay for the full four hours, but you are welcome to stay the whole time if you like.  Also, feel free to bring your lunch to the teach-in.

We are also thrilled to announce that Hitomi Kamanaka will be coming to speak and screen her new documentary in Montréal next month.  More details will be forthcoming as arrangements are finalized, and we can definitely talk about her upcoming visit at the teach-in on Monday.
