19 Mar via web

All mothers within Japan who have small children rising up to say firmly, with a normal voice, that we do not need nuclear power plants, would be the fastest way to change our society. Mothers, please.

Toyama prefecture is the area most suited for small hydroelectric power generation.  The possibility of expanding grounds for new energy from here is high. So as not to stir Fukushima anymore, so as to protect my hometown.

Tomorrow, I will be participating in the Peace Walk meet-up in Kanazawa that has been continuing since the Iraq War. The movement for the Shiga nuclear power plant, which is fortunately being suspended, not to restart ever again starts in Hokuriku, and will hopefully spread. If that happens, HEPCO can implement the stripping down of nuclear plants without delay.

19 Mar via web

Influence from radiation is greater the younger one is. The safety mentioned on NHK is towards grown men, and in addition, to people who are quite tough (even that is sugar-coating it). There is no reference to internal radiation exposure. I want everyone to know that infants and fetuses are much, much more prone to receiving damage.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

19 Mar via web

If any communities in Japan have not set up reliefs, let’s get in contact and have it so that even one more blanket or food item and the like can be sent off. Have all of Japan share in the pain and help one another. And we need definite information that can prevent radiation exposure. So that we can evacuate starting first from the children in the disaster areas!

16 Mar via web

Something that you can do because you are somewhere far is to take in children, because the further away from radioactivity, the safer. Also from radiation and the intake of radioactive material.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

16 Mar via web

China first stopped all of their nuclear power plants, did a safety check, and will review the medium to long term energy plans for their nuclear power implementations. Why can’t Japan do something like this?? A narrow country with 54 bases (6 bases within Fukushima) lined up, what will we do if we can’t change a country overcrowded with the world’s best nuclear power plants?

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

16 Mar via web

When I think about the children’s future, I am so sorry!! But for now, let’s work hard to protect the children. I wonder if it’s possible to evacuate the elementary school children in disaster areas?

15 Mar via web

I cannot see the reason for Hamaoka to function here, this kind of lack of crisis awareness is what’s stirring up the current situation. Fukushima, please have Hamaoka suspended by all means. Please!!

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

15 Mar via web

On NHK just now, they were saying that the radiation coming out is of little importance, but gamma rays that pass through the human body just once and radioactive materials taken into the body that emit alpha rays have completely different damage. Nuclear power propaganda is spreading.

15 Mar via Ustream.TV

What they are explaining now is a trick for sure. In actuality, they are only talking about if you expose yourself to it once from outside. If you absorb it, the amount of internal radiation exposure is entirely different. ( #nhkgtv live at http://ustre.am/vmCj)

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

15 Mar via web

The government’s “no harm in health” means “there is none immediately”. “even if it could come up later, there is no such evidence”. The symptoms of internal radiation exposure is late, and comes out after a certain amount of time has passed. It could be leukemia, or cancer, or immunological deterioration, but there is no way to prove it then.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

15 Mar via web

TEPCO says they did not leave anyone but 50 people behind. In that case, what’s lacking is obvious. In not sending aid because they started the counter-measure headquarters with the government,  the situation only grows worse. Or are we not going to receive help from the U.S. army in Okinawa either?

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

15 Mar via web

Research data on Chernobyl is available on CRIEPI. http://bit.ly/gVODK4 The relations between the amounts of radiation exposure and outbreaks of illnesses. Doesn’t the relation between numerical values and the damage become at least a little concrete here?

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

14 Mar via web

Children–if they are little, have radioactivity affect them as little as you can. Avoid the outdoors as much as possible, seal the windows. Although we cannot tell how the radioactive cloud is going to move from here, you cannot be too careful. Exposing yourself to radiation outside and taking in radioactive material inside your body have different influences from radiation exposure. If you can avoid just internal radiation, it is best that you do.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

No matter who is asking, the storage pool has been damaged. They won’t clearly say it. What I want to know is what it means for the storage pool to be damaged. How much this matter will affect the lives of each person. There is no explanation, none at all.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

14 Mar via web

Reporters at the press conference are pressing with rough tones. Like saying “Please don’t deceive us!!”. Having been deceived all along for many years, even now, what TEPCO and members of peace preservation say are words of deception. That, is pro-nuclear energy propaganda. Now is the time to clear it away. Let them know the truth.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

The government really did know of a meltdown, and they’ve begun to admit it.asahi.com/national/updat… Where is your basis that it wouldn’t end up like Chernobyl? I want a precise explanation.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

14 Mar via web

They should plainly refer to the current situation as a “nuclear earthquake disaster”. In relation to the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear plant incidents, radioactive contamination is progressing at the same time. It doesn’t help even if they say that this was unforeseen while they had been warned of situations like this all along, but I think they should properly accept reality. And then think of counter-measures.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

14 Mar via web

“The buzz of honeybees and the rotation of the earth” As of today, the Euro Space screening is temporarily suspended. In this kind of situation, I think we will be able to have screenings again once things have settled down. Because there isn’t another time where sustainable energy is in such high demand. Everyone, please look for accurate information as well. I, too, will provide it with all my might. Many thanks.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

13 Mar via web

Even at this point, I am shocked at how firmly rooted nuclear power implementation and such glorified power is. Even from only 25% to 30% in addition to being backed up with thermal power. Is it because the reality of this disaster really is so slim, or is it because the reality of radiation exposure isn’t being made known to all? The Hamaoka nuclear power plant, and the No.5 reactor that had shook the most with the previous earthquake is still moving.

12 Mar via web

Approximately 45 kilometres from the Fukushima nuclear power plant within the three months of spring. Data on the spread of the dispersed radioactivity from yesterday’s explosion is needed. If there is any at the universities around the Tohoku area, I want it to be of use at this time.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

R=DANという放射線計測器で測っている市民からの報告。福島三春で通常の60倍ぐらいのカウント。埼玉では変化なし。チェルノブイリの時に始まった市民放射能計測活動が今、役にたつ。ネットワークの方々にお願いします。

12 Mar via web

A report from residents measuring with a radiation measuring machine called R=DAN. A count of 60 times the normal amount in the three months of spring in Fukushima. There is no change in Saitama. The residential radiation measuring activity that had started from the time of Chernobyl is now playing a significant role. I leave this in the hands of those within the network.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

12 Mar via web

The evacuation of people within a 20 kilometres radius, the closest areas, has begun. Already there are people who have been plainly exposed to radiation. To send aid to areas with radioactive contamination means that the people who give aid also can’t avoid being exposed to radiation. That’s why the government doesn’t clearly talk about it. But that is what a nuclear earthquake disaster is. It must not be hidden.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

12 Mar via web

I think it would be best if everyone around the capital area also gets tap water for later while you still can. While it still has yet to contain any radioactive material.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

12 Mar via web

I watched the moment of the explosion on youtube. For Chernobyl, smoke that contained radioactive material continued coming out and extending far and high into the sky. However, the smoke is lessening. Huge amounts of radioactive material has already been emitted, but I don’t know how the nuclear reactor turned out. The number of those in the area exposed to radiation is great, and whether operation can continue is also a problem.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

12 Mar via web

If you compare 1015 microsieverts per hour to normal circumstances, it’s calculated to be 8760 times more. The proportion’s out. There is a need to estimate how much of the fuel rod has melted, the total amount of how much of that radioactive material has been emitted. And also whether we can stop the emission.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

12 Mar via web

If it’s come this far, I want them to report accurately on the next situation. Is there a possibility of steam explosion? If so, how far of a range will the radioacticity spread to? Now is the time when I want the job of saving human lives through information to be done.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

12 Mar via web

After the water level in the storage pools goes down, there is the possibility of entering into a vicious cycle. A bad pattern. Coolants from America, please! Are there no coolants for counter-measure usage against accidents in Japan?

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

12 Mar via web

Wouldn’t it be better to request for the coolants from America that had been rejected? Even at this point, I want them to ask for it. It can’t be good like this.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

11 Mar via web

The nuclear power plant is serious too, but at this moment, what are the things that we can do in order to save the lives of many of the individuals who are alive and need rescuing? What can we do for people who are struggling with flooding, cold, hunger and injury? Things we can do in Tokyo are conserving electricity, blood donation, donating money, supporting behind the scenes.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

11 Mar via web

Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency, how about notifying the nuclear power plants across the entire nation? When we can’t undersand the changes of the earthquake at the present moment, isn’t suspending the nuclear power plants important for the whole of Japan? Because all 54 reactors are built along the coastline.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

11 Mar via web

Fukushima nuclear power plant, around the valve that was releasing smoke some time ago, the radiation was so strong that it was having difficulty operating. Particulars on those who have passed away are not yet announced. Isn’t news itself lacking in the chaos of the actual scene?

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

11 Mar via web

That the emisson has started means it has been saved from the destruction of storage pools. No.1 reactor seems to have escaped from the worst situation. Although it’d be nice if they wouldn’t just say the emission level of radioactive material is merely a small amount, but give it to us in a precise number.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

11 Mar via web

If you cannot get iodine tablets, use isodine as a substitute. 3 drops a day in a cup. Better than nothing. The emission has started! The radioactive material is coming out, but amounts to very little is what the specialist on NHK stated. Said they’re removing it with a filter.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

11 Mar via web

Please prioritize your children to take iodine. It doesn’t work too well on adults, let’s protect the children. It is effective on those 20 years old and under.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

11 Mar via web

The municipalities with nuclear power plants should have idione tablets stored for emergencies at insurance offices and town halls. Please get them in advance for your children, and have them take it immediately. After the emission starts would be too late. Because radioactive iodine will end up concentrated if you don’t have a cup of it for your thyroid gland.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

11 Mar via web

Radiation and radioactive material is coming out of the nuclear power plant. We are told that there are no immediate effects on the human body, but from absorbing radioactive material, there will be damage to your health in the distant future. Please wear your mask without fail. Please put your food firmly in plastic bags and secure them.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

11 Mar via web

It would be best if other nuclear power plants are promptly and safely shut down, starting from Hamaoka. I wonder if someone is giving out the instructions. I’m concerned about Hamaoka especially. Please also shut down the ones in Fukui, Ikata, Kawauchi, and Genkai. I want things to be ready before the earthquake catches up.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

11 Mar via web

It may be good to have children within a radius of 100 kilometres of the Fukushima nuclear power plant to take iodine tablets. Eat shredded kombu if you have some. Iodine tablets work only on children, there are many side effects for those in their forties and above. Parents who have children, head as far away from the nuclear power plant as you can!

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

11 Mar via web

Prime Minister Kan has headed towards the Fukushima nuclear power plant. How will he take reponsibility for having so strongly pushed for the nuclear power implementation policy? I ask for a decision that will contain the damage to a minimum. And I would like information to be released accurately.

@kama38 hitomi kamanaka

11 Mar via web

I’m still at Euro. The theatre has become a resting place for refugees returning home. Japan has been overturned now in just about everything. Today’s screening is, of course, suspended, and the cinema is being shut. I wish that the coolants in the Fukushima nuclear power plant will recover, that all of the nuclear power plants within Japan will be shut down for one moment. Not yet yielding to any predicted outcomes, it is a time to help each other. Let’s look for things we can do.
